“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once
in a while, you could miss it.”
- Ferris Bueller
The challenges that teens and young adults face in today's world are very different from the challenges that we faced growing up. We tell them to be themselves, and yet everywhere they turn they see another sanitized-for-social-media perspective of what that means. They are bombarded with advertisements and celebrities pushing the 'right' way to be and pressured to fit in, to look a certain way, to act a certain way. Simultaneously, any single moment of not being perfectly put together or perfectly in control of themselves could turn into the next meme or viral video, spreading their moment of imperfect, real, and totally understandable humanity across the internet to their entire community. As the mom of a teen and a young adult myself, I see it all the time.
How do we make a difference?
Sometimes your teen needs someone to show them that it's okay to not have it all together all the time, that it's okay to get messy and try things out and fail and try something else. They need someone to talk to who's not their parent (sorry, moms and dads!) who will give it to them straight, answer their questions, and help them figure out what they truly, honestly want out of life.

That's why I created the (NAME GOES HERE) Program.
What's Included
-
Twelve weeks of one on one coaching for your teen, a 45 minute session per week, with the option to invite a parent or the whole family in for a group session for week 1, week 6, and week 12
-
Call notes after each session with action items or resources to check out
-
24 hour response to any questions via Voxer
-
Status updates for your teen's school, if requested, via PDF letters, email, or phone calls
-
Foundational assessments to help your teen get a sense of what's important to them
-
Worksheets, support links, and additional resources like books and podcasts for you and your teen
Whether your teen is struggling in school, facing bullying or harassment, acting out, or just feels adrift in life, we will work together to identify their strengths, increase their self-confidence, set goals, and make manageable plans to achieve those goals.
Psst.... Parents, you won't be left out!
I have an awesome parent support group in the works! When your teen starts one on one coaching, you'll get an invitation to join a parents only support group where you can ask questions, connect with others, and share the trials and tribulations of being the parent of a teen. Stay tuned!
